Midstate Independent Living Choices Presents a FREE Hearing Screen in WI Dells

Stevens Point, WI – Midstate Independent Living Choices with the collaboration of UW Stevens Point Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic presents a FREE hearing screen in Wisconsin Dells. This event will take place at the Kalahari Resort (Desert Rose Room) in Wisconsin Dells, WI on August 5th from 9am to 5pm and August 6th from 9am to 12pm. Independent Living Resources (Lacrosse) and Access to Independence (Madison) will be in attendance to assist Wisconsin Dells individuals that reside in Columbia, Juneau and Sauk county.

Our goal with this event is to provide people with disabilities in our community an opportunity to get their hearing tested and discuss adaptive equipment that meets their telecommunication needs. We will have a variety of adaptive equipment from our loan program to view such as amplified phones, amplifiers, signaling devices, and much more! We will also have representatives available to discuss programs for Wisconsin residents to acquire adaptive telecommunication equipment. This is a free event that is open to people with disabilities of all ages and abilities and their family or caregivers. Registration is not required and hearing screens are on a first come first serve basis.
