MILC Adapted Ice Skating Event

In partnership with the K.B. Willett Ice Arena

What: 3rd Annual Adapted Ice Skating Event

When: Saturday, December 16, 12-2 PM

Where: K.B. Willett Ice Arena, Stevens Point WI, 54481

Midstate Independent Living Choices (MILC), in collaboration with the K.B. Willett Ice Arena, offered our 3rd Annual Adapted Ice Skating event! Participants were able to register for this FREE event for people of all ages and abilities, and their families and/or caregivers, to go ice skating in an adapted and accessible environment.

This free event was open to any person with a disability who wanted to go ice skating, as well as their family and/or caregivers. Hockey sleds, wheelchairs, walkers and other adaptive equipment was available to encourage individuals of all ages and abilities to get out on the ice and have some fun!

Ice skates and helmets were available at the rink; however, sizes that fit everyone were not guaranteed, so participants were encouraged to bring their own safety equipment.

Here are some photos from last year’s event!
