MILC’s Personal Assistant Services (PAS) provides assistance to adults and children with disabilities. Services are provided in the comfort of the individual’s home and determined by the consumer’s needs through a Plan of Care.
Assistance can range from simple personal needs to complex personal care. PAS employees are generally assigned to a series of short-term assignments and may be assigned multiple consumers. The position may require travel. An assignment may end with little or no advance notice.

A wonderful opportunity to assist individuals with disabilities who want to self-direct their long-term care services and remain in their communities. MILC is dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities through services that support their goals of independence.
Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
$19-$21 per hour
Under the general supervision of the IRIS Consultant Agency’s (ICA) Self Directed Services Program Coordinator the IRIS Consultant is responsible for providing ongoing support and assistance to participants enrolled in the IRIS program within the ICA’s service area.
Bilingual in Hmong/English is HIGHLY desired for one of these positions.
Must be 18 years or older required Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, human services, counseling, nursing, special education or a closely related field AND have one (1) year of supervised experience working with seniors and/or people living with disabilities OR have a minimum of four (4) years of direct experience related to the delivery of social services to seniors and/or people living with disabilities and long-term care needs in a community setting.
Ability to become certified as a Long Term Care Functional Screener through completion of the Department of Health Services (DHS) web-based clinical certification required.
