IRIS Consultant- Remote

Join MILC’s team! A wonderful opportunity to assist individuals with disabilities who want to self-direct their long-term care services and remain in their communities. MILC is dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities through services that support their goals of independence.

We are looking for a Full-time, 40 hours/week, IRIS Consultant to work remotely to serve Outagamie, Winnebago, and Fond du Lac Counties.
$19-$21 per/hour
Individuals residing in Oshkosh or surrounding areas encouraged to apply.

Under the general supervision of the IRIS Consultant Agency’s (ICA) Self Directed Services Program Coordinator the IRIS Consultant is responsible for providing ongoing support and assistance to participants enrolled in the IRIS program within the ICA’s service area.

Will be required to attend face-to-face team meetings with other ICs and their supervisor in the Stevens Point office. In addition, IC and supervisor phone check-ins may occur.

Ability to travel within the ICA’s service area and statewide required.

Marketing & Communications Coordinator

MILC is looking for an enthusiastic Marketing & Communication Coordinator to join our team to provide essential support in developing and implementing our communication and outreach strategy. As a marketing coordinator you will have the opportunity to lead projects from start to finish. Your work will include preparing promotional materials, building social media campaigns, and rebranding the MILC website. This is a unique position for self-motivated and ambitious individuals looking to build a career in social media and content marketing.

This position will be responsible for the creation and dissemination of public health messages that will provide  a wide range of public health services and supports, including culturally affirmative and linguistically accessible information, assistance with accessing vaccines (including boosters) and connecting to other services and programs that include health and wellness, social isolation, social determinants of health, and other activities that support the public health and wellbeing of older adults and people with disabilities.

Marketing & Communications Coordinator Job Responsibilities

  • Develops a strategy that boosts social support, such as social networks, friendships, and similar actions that can help respond to COVID-19 or prepare for other public health challenges.
  • Provide public health education to underserved populations and people with limited English proficiency.
  • Preparing detailed promotional presentations
  • Designing and presenting new social media campaign ideas
  • Monitoring all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback
  • Measuring consumer satisfaction with products or services

Marketing Intern Job Qualifications/Skills

  • Applied understanding of basic marketing principles
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Publisher)
  • Basic photography, image and video editing, and graphic design skills
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with WordPress websites

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject, such as Marketing, Communications or Business

Must be able to drive and meet agency driving standards.

Personal Assistant Services (PAS) team?

MILC’s Personal Assistant Services (PAS) provides assistance to adults and children with disabilities in the comfort of the individual’s home and is determined by the consumer’s needs through a Plan of Care.

Services offered are personal care, supportive home care and respite.

PAS employees are generally assigned to a series of short-term assignments and may be assigned to multiple consumers. The position may require travel.

MILC PAS offers: competitive wages, flexible scheduling, paid travel for qualifying assignments, and paid training.
