Brad Roethlisberger, director of disabled hockey at the Wisconsin Amateur Hockey Association (WAHA), will provide a sled hockey clinic from 12-12:30 pm to help increase knowledge and awareness of sled hockey. Individuals will be able to get hands on experience of getting in sleds and learning how to properly propel themselves on the ice. If you are interested in learning this sport or want to see it in action, come by and check it out.

The remaining time (12:30-2 pm) will be open skate where we will have sled hockey sleds to try as well as wheelchairs and walkers to encourage individuals of all ages and abilities to get out on the ice.

Skate rentals will be provided by the K.B. Willett, but if you have your own skates, feel Adapted Ice Skating 2023-PDFfree to bring them. Helmets are available at the rink but we do not guarantee sizes to fit everyone, so attendees are encouraged to provide their own safety equipment.

Food (walking tacos) and beverages (soda and water) will be provided at the event.

We hope to see you there!”
