Our Youth Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-Ets) Program offers five different curriculums that can help in many ways.
We use a self-advocacy curriculum that was created by individuals with disabilities that explains how to stand up for their rights in a way that is assertive and respectful.

In response to the pandemic and a need for virtual learning, we teach a web-based program used to help students navigate the following transition activities:
This service can be provided one-on-one or as a group, and the service can be provided virtually or in-person.
In order to prepare students in transition for the work-force we offer a curriculum that teaches soft skills for employment.
Students will learn to master the following skills:
This can be instructed in person or virtually and is best in a group setting, but can be taught individually.
We have a course that teaches students in transition about their income and spending habits in order to prepare for long-term success in financial management.

Students who elect this course as part of their transition will gain the tools necessary to be financially independent. This service can be provided one-on-one or as a group. This service can be provided virtually or in-person.
MILC uses a curriculum that includes five modules that explain how each of our relationships can be defined in a very particular way. A sixth module can be added with parent permission and student willingness to participate.
This class is only available to groups of students 14-21 years old with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 10 participants.
