Prior to coming to Midstate Independent Living Choices (MILC), I worked as a direct service provider trained to support a wide variety of individuals in community-based setting and private homes. I have almost 10 years of experience working with youth and adults with mental and behavioral health needs as well as adults with complex medical needs.
I have a special interest in youth transition planning and supporting individuals with mental and behavioral health and or alcohol and substance abuse issues. I am passionate about human and social service provision, diversity and inclusion efforts, and community-based programming.
In addition to providing services as an IRIS Consultant, as the Quality Assurance Lead Trainer, I assist the IRIS Program Director and Executive Director with improving and maintaining program and agency quality. I also complete Long-Term Care Functional Screens for program participants and serve as the ICA’s restrictive measures lead.
In my spare time I enjoy writing, astrology, listening to music, going to concerts, cooking, baking and binging TV show on Netflix and Hulu. I love dogs and meeting new animals.
