Prior to coming to Midstate Independent Living Choices, I worked in a variety of health care, medical, and human service fields focused mostly in the elderly population within private and assisted living facilities and several hospitals. I began working as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) at the age of 15. From there I pursued furthering my education in medicine and human services. I worked as a Surgical Technologist in several hospitals and as an Intake Specialist for Energy Services of Winnebago County and as a Volunteer Coordinator for St. Vincent DePaul in Neenah. I have been in the “helping” fields my entire work life.
I love gardening and nature, spending time with my children and grandchildren, walking, hiking, dogs and other animals. I am an alternative health practitioner and a proactive advocate for holistic and alternative health or healing arts practices such as chiropractic’s, Reiki, massage, music therapy, and art therapy.
I look forward to meeting you and assisting in meeting your self-directed goals.
