Stevens Point, WI – Midstate Independent Living Choices (MILC) recognizes that individuals with disabilities represent a diverse population that includes people of all genders, races, religions, and more. To assist businesses and organizations in Wisconsin, MILC is introducing a new program, MILC Business Solutions (MBS). This program is aimed at supporting entities such as businesses, government buildings, public spaces, event coordinators, and various other agencies and organizations that offer services, products, and programs to the general public.
MBS will be available to conduct ADA compliance assessments, Architectural Accessibility Assessments, Public/Motivational Speaking, Website Accessibility Assessments, and Training for businesses located in Adams, Florence, Forest, Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon, Oneida, Portage, Taylor, Vilas, and Wood counties.
People with disabilities often face obstacles when it comes to accessing employment, goods, and services. By focusing on enhancing accessibility, providing reasonable accommodations, and understanding disability etiquette and rights, access can become more open to people with disabilities.
