Peer Support, Mental Health, AODA Recovery
Find Support on Your Road to Recovery
Recovery happens best when people choose their own path forward, building on their unique strengths and abilities.
Our community-based approach focuses on building genuine connections with others who share similar experiences. Working alongside Certified Peer Specialists and fellow community members helps create a network of support and belonging.
This supportive, non-clinical environment (where participation is always voluntary) empowers people to develop meaningful relationships and find hope in their journey toward wellness and a fulfilling life.

I come to the clubhouse for the activities and the outings, and because the people are not judgmental.

I come to the clubhouse because I appreciate the diversity of people and everyone’s experiences add to my own.
Testimonial
I come to the clubhouse because I know people are there for me when I have a bad day and it keeps me from isolating myself at home when I’m struggling.

You know what I like about the clubhouse? It’s the people that I met since coming here, and they’re all friendly… so the clubhouse is a good thing I like coming to.
Community Peer Support
MILC provides 1:1 peer support services for youth and adults who receive Comprehensive Community Services (CCS).
Community peer support services address the psychosocial needs of youth and adults with mental health and/or substance use challenges. We provide opportunities to receive psychoeducation, peer support, individual skill development, participation in support groups, and access to socialization and recreational activities.
